Why are embedded elements not displaying on my Wix site?

Unfortunately, if you are using Wix as your web platform, using embedded elements will not work due to the way Wix embeds any external code as an <iframe>.
This is because the URL inside of the <iframe> will be different than the one the user sees in the browser window's URL bar.
