If I have my customers' phone numbers instead of email addresses, can I still use GrowSurf?

The bare minimum requirement for adding a new GrowSurf participant is a unique email address. This is because GrowSurf relies on email addresses for verifying unique identity and as a means of communicating with participants.

If your business collects customers' phone numbers instead of email addresses, it is still possible to use GrowSurf. For example, every time that you add a new participant, you could use an email address format of <your customer's phone number>@yourdomain.com. Here's an example below:

[email protected]

This is not a valid email address; however, this is a way to add a unique email address as a participant. Please note that GrowSurf emails will not properly land into recipients' inboxes, as the email addresses would be invalid.
